Terms of service

Effective date: September 20, 2026

These terms govern Along, operated by Hoodie LLC in California, United States. Contact support@letsgoalong.com with questions. By using the service after being given an opportunity to review these terms, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use Along's participation features.

What Along does

Along helps adults discover activities, create gatherings and form small groups of people who want to attend together. Muse can interact with Along on your instructions. Along is a platonic social service; it does not promise a match, friendship, attendance, compatibility or any particular social outcome.

Public organizer listings, Along-hosted gatherings and companion groups are different things. Joining a companion group does not buy a ticket, reserve an organizer's place, book a court or register you with an external service. Check the organizer's source page and complete any separate registration it requires. A displayed unknown price is not a promise that an event is free.

The current Along service does not take payments. An external organizer may charge separately under its own terms. Any future Along payment offering will state its price and applicable purchase, cancellation and refund terms before you agree to pay.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information needed to use the service. Keep your account and connected access secure. Do not impersonate another person or use someone else's account. Tell us if you believe your account has been compromised.

You control the actions you ask Muse to take. Before confirming a gathering or group commitment, review the date, time zone, venue, participant visibility and any external registration requirement. Neither an AI recommendation nor a user profile is an identity or safety guarantee.

Participating and hosting

Treat commitments seriously. Leave or cancel through Along when your plans change, and check the current plan before travelling. Organizers may change or cancel events. When source details change materially, Along may cancel an affected companion group and require a fresh plan.

Hosts are responsible for the accuracy of their gathering details, any required venue permission, applicable local rules and clear participation expectations. Do not advertise capacities or access that you cannot provide. Along is not the operator of third-party venues and does not independently inspect gatherings, perform background checks or verify self-reported attendance.

Meet in places and circumstances you are comfortable with. Respect another person's decision to leave, decline contact or withdraw a connection. Use local emergency services for urgent danger; Along is not an emergency response service.

Community conduct

Follow the community guidelines. Do not use Along for harassment, stalking, threats, discrimination, sexual solicitation, scams, unlawful activity, impersonation, unsolicited commercial messaging, or disclosure of another person's private information. Do not create deceptive events or use the service to circumvent a person's withdrawal of consent.

Do not probe other users' records, interfere with the service, share access credentials or bypass access controls. Automated access must use the authorized API and applicable limits.

Content and third-party material

You retain your rights in content you provide. You give Hoodie LLC the limited permission needed to store, display and process that content to operate Along and the sharing choices described in the privacy policy. Do not submit material you do not have permission to provide. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to us.

Organizer names, listings, links and other third-party material belong to their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply sponsorship or a partnership. We may correct or remove a listing when it is inaccurate, unavailable or reasonably disputed. Contact support@letsgoalong.com about a listing or rights concern and include the relevant source URL.

Meta, Muse and external organizers are separate services with their own terms and privacy practices. Along's availability through a connector does not imply that Meta operates Along or guarantees an event. We will not describe Along as an approved directory connector unless that approval has actually been obtained.

Changes, restrictions and ending use

We may maintain, change or discontinue features and may restrict accounts or remove content to address misuse, legal obligations or operational risks. Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will explain a restriction and provide a way to contact us about it. You may stop using the service and request account deletion as described on the deletion page.

These terms may change. We will update this page's date and provide any additional notice or opportunity to agree required by law. Material changes do not remove rights that already exist under applicable law.

Service limits and disputes

Events and social interactions involve uncertainty. We take reasonable care in providing Along but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, complete listings, organizer availability or another person's conduct. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer protections that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

Contact support@letsgoalong.com first if you have a concern so we can try to resolve it. California law governs these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law, without depriving you of mandatory protections that apply where you live. These terms do not impose binding arbitration or a class-action waiver.

Read the privacy policy for how we handle personal information.
